Flow Wrap Machine Operator – Food Manufacturing

About the role

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Machine Operators who are committed to technical excellence, enjoy hands-on work, and can perform confidently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Leader, you will be responsible for operating flow wrap and sealing equipment safely and efficiently, supporting production targets, and maintaining our quality and food safety standards. We offer both day and afternoon shift options, Monday to Friday.

Successful Applicants Must Have:

• 3–5 years’ experience operating flow wrap and sealing machines in food manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Confident with machine set-up, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality, and production requirements.

Health and Safety

• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including Lock Out/Tag Out requirements.
• Complete hourly stretches and maintain safe work practices.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, and injuries promptly.
• Support the development and review of machinery SOPs.

Quality Assurance

• Follow Critical Control Points and report any deviations.
• Work to product specifications and quality standards.
• Complete and file daily process control records accurately.

Machine Operation

• Set up packaging machinery for daily production runs.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Complete basic daily and weekly machine maintenance.
